Sleepless Night.

My feelings right now are a mish-mashed of ecstasy, disappointment, joy and what-nots. I went to my much-awaited BSB concert. *Grinning from ear to ear*.

I die (IF I have to) a satisfied being. Really. We paid for second best seats but were upgraded by the organiser to ground floor seatings. Of course, us (pink jambu and I); being the fanatic BSB fans, upgraded ourselves to the front. Not below the stage but as close as 200 metres from the boys.

I regret not bringing my camera which I thought no cameras are allowed. PUI! Bluff me, right? They let cameras in. I should have brought mine!! In any case, we were too busy grooving we didn't snap much.

I feel like I'm in a dream. Never did I thought I'd see them in this lifetime. Oh my gosh.

And thanks, my dear colleagues (they probably don't read this) for letting me go off. Thanks for rushing the work for me. :)

I now await jabir's pictures. Pictures, pictures, pictures.

I wonder if I can wink tonight. Gosh. I went to Backstreet Boys concert!!

To My Amazement.

I was packing my stationery drawer and I found some Christmas presents from people. One of them is much to my surprise (even up till now).

THIS!!

My first Christmas present received this year was given by aunt sp.

I don't know why she gave me this. She gave the same to my siblings (each of us got a different notebooks to doodl). Why does she waste her money on this for me? I was so surprised and disappointed (I'm being honest here!) when I opened it during Christmas.

I asked her why and she said because I'm still a kid. *Speechless*.

In any case, I was disappointed for that minute only. Not like I was yearning for a gift because I get gifts from her every now and then, with no occasion, no purpose. We can walk into here and she'd say, "I count to 10. You choose any one item. (starts countdown)."

So, I got my lavender bath gel. My much-sought after. So spontaneous, so sporting! Just like 6 months ago, when we walked into the Apple Centre @ Orchard, 10 seconds to ask the salesperson for my mini. Haha!

I'm going to a pampering session tomorrow for my hands and feet. Hehe. And a lazy Sunday shopping with shum. Retail therapy works. It does, it does.

But for now, I've to continue with my work (!!).

A Week Before My Favourite.

Yeap, one more week before my favourite time of the year - Chinese New Year. Goodies, meetup(s), reunion(s), red packets and all. Yay!!

Been working slogging like a bull this week for the favourite client. That 180 pages directory!!! Killing us and many trees around. Heck.

Retail therapy definitely works. Ooo, got 2 cheap watches which are fantabulous! What I've always wanted. One for $10. What good deal, isn't it?

Shoes and handbags will have to wait. Sighs! Especially I've blown (I think I have) my budget this month. But, what is new? Hmm.

I've been tagged to do some stuffs. Since I'm at it and it's a little bored here, I'll just do.

(Copied from here)
Here are the regulations as passed on… The first player of this game starts with the topic “five weird habits of yourself,” and those who got tagged need to write an entry of their five weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next five person to be tagged and link to their journals. Don’t forget to leave a comment in their blog or journal that says “You are tagged” (assuming they take comments) and tell them to read yours.

1. I have fetish for hands. Nice, strong hands. So, when I am looking/ scouting for men, I look at their hands!
2. I dream a lot.
3. I get sleepy from 12 midnight till 2am. After which, I am wide awake and can stay through the night though I've been up for the last 24 hours.
4. I hate roses. Absolutely detest them. (Most girls love roses).
5. I'm a freak at times. I tear and throw documents the moment they're no longer useful to me, though keeping them is essential!!

There you go! 5 weird habits of mine that I can think of at this moment. I will now tag cellmate, evil twin, eu, jabir and peg.

I miss you so much. So, so much.

The Virgin Lesson.

I had my first blading lesson yesterday night. After 2 months of waiting, finally! The weatherman had been kind to let the day shine and shine throughout. We've missed the sun too much!!

Lesson was fun and interesting. From a "cannot-even-balance" status to an "able-to-roll-a-bit". Haha!! Weather looks good today again. I wished it stayed like this for a long, long time. I hate rain, I seriously detest it!

I feel good blogging on a PowerBook G4. Wished I had more cash to change my old laptop. Again, money is the root of all evil. Sighs!

I can predict tomorrow's another "chasing chickens" day. It means rush day but I, personally feel like I'm chasing little chickens, for some reasons. Quick, quick, go into your little corner and be done with your business, fast!! Urgh, that nasty feeling.

On a happier note, from tomorrow onwards, I can at least find some motivation to get up early to go to work every morning. =)

And, I cannot wait for Chinese New Year to come so that I get my 1 week break from some nasty people.

Alas, The Sun's Out.

As the title speaks for itself, I need not say much. Lucky residents of Singapore who got to hibernate throughout the last week (due to the wet weather) are pretty much up and kicking, I guess. :)

I get to see the sun yesterday, for the WHOLE day! I am greeted by the sun till the time I am typing this post. Phew! Thank goodness coz I get to start my blading lessons, official! It's been 2 months, ok!

'Nuff about the sun, stars and moon.

The Overdue(s).

Been busy since the last time I posted an entry. I just finished my dinner (most would have supper at this hour.) Rushing for a client's brochure which I got blasted the moment she came into the office, back from her Bangkok holidays. Pui!

"So, what do you want me to do, huh? Everyone did mockups, no one was free till 5pm!! No one could do."

"We have a deadline to meet. Cannot say cannot do."

Fine, it's me. Me, me, me. Me again. My fault, my performance, my lack of attention, my forgetfulness.

ME. ME. ME.

-----

In the meantime, remember I was complaining about the rain and how I couldn't shop for things that I want & need? Here's a peek-a-boo of the list:

- a new phone
- CNY clothes
- shoes
- handbag
- a hair trim
- a job
- (others that I cannot remember for now)

And here's what is done:

- the new phone
- CNY clothes

I think, for the short get together with shum, frog & fei was quite good. Completed a fraction of my shopping list and catch-up at the same time. Nice. =)

I Hate Wet Days.

It's frusfrating. It's been raining since...since...I cannot recall when!!

I wished I have a car. I wished I have the capability to even buy the car tyres (first). Sheesh. Weather never was a problem back home in Malaysia because we all have cars. Yes, everyone of my friends, we drive. Of course, our parents' cars.

But see, the difference here is: home - drive parent's car. here - MRT or buses though parents own a car. Sighs. I salute people who have determination to step out of the house though it's pouring outside.

The rain practially dampens my mood, my spirit and leads to lack of motivation. I so badly want to hit town today to get some long overdue shopping but heck, the rain came and I just woke up from slumberland.

Irritating unpredicted factors of life!!

If Only.

How nice if my office surrounding is something like this? Wouldn't it be nice? Scroll down the page, to the 5th picture, with a caption that reads: Protestants united: "No more briefs today"

That made me laugh. Funny people. If only our office is so condusive; I am sure all of us wouldn't have qualms staying there or even sleepover there.

Our office currently looks like any normal office, not a tiny bit like an ad agency. Ad agencies should not behave and look like that. People in advertising are deemed as cool and creative and blablabla. But, we've to stick to dress code. Kanasai, have you heard of that? We aren't allowed jeans, not even on Fridays!

Crazy.

Desperately Trying.

I am trying very, very hard not to take things to heart. I am trying very, very hard to get out of the pithole. But it seems very deep. So deep I cannot even estimate its depth.

I'm getting frusfrated by day. You said you are very concerned with my performance. Please, if you'd stop promising clients blindly, things wouldn't screw up. We wish you'd be understanding. We're humans, with goals and inspirations; not machines without feelings and motives in life.

Everyone is fedup and regretting their decision. Something inside tells me that it's time. But I've been here barely 6 months. It's not going to be a very good testimonial to my employment history, isn't it?

We're all badly in need of rest and motivation. We don't see it anywhere. We're all frusfrated individuals. Wait till we go on strike, one day. Wait!!

Zapee-dee-doo!!!

Cellmate & evil twin thinks this isn't as good as our own therapy - laughter. Throughout our funny evening together, I think we burnt enough fats around our tummy than one doing crunches a hundred times. We laughed from Heeren all the way to our dinner at Shimbashi Soba, supposedly the best Japanese handmade soba noodles (in town).

We laughed non-stop, and I meant N-O-N-S-T-O-P because we are happy people. =) Take things easy, come on! Apparently evil twin said the product mentioned above is bad because it results in constipation. Maybe you've been zapped too much or vibrate too much, your rubbish inside hardens. That's why - constipation.

Anyway, the restaurant isn't THAT fantastic. I think it's just oh-kay. First of all, the service is bad. Why, we don't look like we have money to pay, is it? Wah... I felt insulted. But the duo's company made up. Secondly, their menu has "waste money" item! They should know what I mean. Really waste money!!!

Short but funny evening. Oh, of course, can tone up your abdomen too! Who needs a certain machine to zap away your fats? Bah! Waste money. Come to us for consultation.

This Is It!!

The moment that I've been waiting for because last month of last year wasn't smooth-sailing. I shall make my New Year resolution here and hope it comes true. I think, it'd better come true!! :P

(1) Good health for my family and beloved friends
(2) Smooth-sailing time at work
(3) *Secret wish* :P

In lieu of the new begining, I'd like to renew my appreciation to these people (in no particular order):

- Jaswir and Eunice for being my pillar of strength at all times.
- Yuen Shum, Pik Qi and Jenny for being the best pals that are most honest with me.
- Pei Wen, Fangying, Ying Hua, Lee Ching and Jessica for making my life in Singapore so
memorable and pleasant.
- an old friend whom I've never forgotten and will never forget
