Sweet Gesture.

Warning: This is a sweet post. If you think you're not up to it, please steer away. Thank you.

He had to go to JB this morning to settle some stuffs at the bank. Off he goes while I continue my journey in dreamland. Upon reaching Singapore, he SMS-ed and told me he got the (famous) Portugese egg tarts from City Square. Thought 1: How nice! When I knew he had to wait for 45 minutes for the freshly-baked tarts, it melted me. Thought 2: How sweet!

Thank you very much for the wonderful and delicious egg tarts coz you know how much I love egg tarts. And to spend 45 minutes waiting and walking around the mall is even sweeter. Thank you, my dear.

Focus on the good, not the bad. I'm sure you know what I mean as you were the one who constantly drill this into me. :P

Love you, dear.

Anger vs Hunger.

A hungry man is an angry man. Is that true? Someone, please elaborate.

My take on this is that: when one is hungry, stomach growls. You feel uncomfortable. You hold on till you reach a point whereby you cannot control the hunger and it eats (literally) eats you up. Slowly. Then you start biting (back) at people who treads on your tail.

Is that it? I am trying not to give myself too many excuses nowadays but it's getting hard. Plus, late nights aren't helping Pff. And tonight (just now, rather), it was hunger + late night = anger.

2 unhappy individuals now.

Week One Completed.

Yesterday was an absolute hectic and mad one. E was targeting 0% mistakes and frusfrations but somehow it was not done. Apologies on my end.

Everything that needed to go, went. The process was nonetheless painful and we sweated a lot for it. Anyway, they're out so PHEW!

I hope this will not affect me too much. This s is really funny. Called to tell me not to take everything personally. It's like the old morale story - you nailed the wall at your backyard. Upon realizing, you decide to remove the nails but the damage is already done. How?

Anyway, I never take them personal. If I wanted to, I wouldn't be here.

I will try to enjoy my weekend because I don't know how to do so when I wake up so damn early and can't get back to sleep and when I have dreams all night about the on-goings during the past week.

Bleh...

Day One - Three of the Other Journey.

All I could say is I am dead tired. Really dead tired. I was puntual on day 1 and i went home 12 hours later. On the dot, 12 hours later. I was in quite a daze by then. A lot of pointers to digest and processes to remember.

Day 2 was slightly better with actual stuffs to do. Got a string of things out on time, PHEW! j went on to talk for 30 minutes which mean clocking out at 8. But fine, that's considered early.

Day 3. Today. It's my feet that killed me. Stupid heels, which I should really consider throwing as it's hurting me badly everytime i wear it EVEN THOUGH it's only for a while (ie. walk to and from MRT station). Useless pair of thing huh. And the new slippers are hurting a little but not as much. AND all that climbing... I reckon I'd really lose some weight climbing up 2 storeys countless times daily. It's really COUNTLESS. I didn't bother counting them already.

Got arrowed 4 times today. Left, right, front, back. Forgot my bulletproof vest today. Sighs. Hope I didn't get jinto trouble. It can be such hair-tugging moment when there are sudden change of plans for the week. Grrrr.

Hanging on by the moment but loving it every second! :)

And, apologies to you (you know who you are) for throwing my tantrum (yet again!) at you unnecessarily yesterday. :P

Time to hit the bed now. Outta here.

Day Two, Three, and a half.

Day Two was lunch with a friend at City Hall then back home to do some groceries and housework. Seemed like a boring and typical day but enjoyed as these little things occupied my time. DIY facial papmer which now leaves my skin a tad too dry. (!!!).

Yesterday was lunch with ex-colleagues and then coffee (actually, tea) session with evil twin. I felt like I was leading a tai-tai life. Sitting at Spinneli's with my beverage, plugging onto my ipod and reading my book; admist the lush green outside the coffee joint enjoying the breezy and lazy afternoon. Ahh. Oomm.

I'm halfway into my fourth bumming day. It's been a rather slow and boring day. Woke up at ten and lazed around, doing nothing much and the day seemed to pass like a slow turtle.

On the other hand, I am a little jittery about the new week. What do I wear? What do I bring? What do I say? What do I do?

All the "What Do I's" are bogging my mind once in a while.

Day One.

Today marks day one of my bumming week. Started with waking up late(r) than usual. Then nua a little, housework then lunch for him at his office. Hah! I didn't cook the lunch. It was aunt sp who cooked bacon rice yesterday night and I merely heated it up.

Today was quite fruitful as I felt that I've completed a lot of things. Went ICA and did my Access Card and updated my address on my NRIC since I'm there already. Then it was off to Army Market for a fulfiling prawn noodle and a bowl of grass jelly with sea coconut. Fuahz! I certainly have a BIG appetite!

Pamper session started at 4.30pm at Far East Plaza. Spa pedicure with an extra I-already-forgot-what-treatment-already for my feet. Sat there and was pampered for a whole good 2 hours. Whee!!!!

There you have the itinerary of my day 1. Haha!!
