Today was a bad day because the newsletter that went so smoothly has a mistake that it's partially both my designer & my fault. It was a technical glitch, no doubt but the fact that the digital proof came back to us and we missed the errors. It's not too happening but sort of spoilt my day. Only consolation is boss didn't come down hard on us. Instead, she has to talk to client and try to remedy the situation.
On the other hand, an impulsive $60 splurge at Giordano and $200 at Origins makes me a happy happy girl. Very happy I sms-ed and called colleague k and even she could sense the happiness in my voice. Yesh, yours truly is very happy.
After going through all the unkindness and unhappy series of unfortunate events, spending that money eases me. Self-indulgence, self-pamper. Yay yay!

i've gone retail therapy many a times but none felt as happy as yesterday.
